Youth and Community Officer

Applicants must have a relevant third level qualification and must have a minimum of two years experience in the areas of community development/community youth work.

Primary Duties involve:-

Implementation of the Local Development Social Inclusion Programme actions in the areas of Community Development and Community Based Youth.
Support Geographic and Issued based groups.
Prepare Funding applications to external bodies/ Appraise grant applications received by Partnership Trá Lí.
Project initiation and development.
Planning evaluation and report writing.

The successful candidate must be committed to community development approaches and principles, have an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team and be available for evening work.

Fixed term contract of eleven months, 35 hour week. Salary Scales will apply.
